Where the German, Austrian and Czech border meet,
the highest elevation called Plöckenstein is also
center of the bohemian forest.Inaccesible during
the cold war, the former forest vegetation fell
victim to the barkbeetle. Although there are
efforts of reforestation, the scenery of
decay is omnipresent.
